Restoration efforts underway

Restoration Fund has been established.  How you can help?

Calendar Information

The R.B.W.& M. Historical Society was formed in January 1985 , it's purpose, to bring together those people  interested in the diverse historical heritage of the Townships of Rolph, Buchanan, Wylie and McKay to research, codify, retain, preserve, and present historical data pertaining to the area. In 1988 the Society acquired the former S.S.#4A schoolhouse building on Highway 17  at Meilleur's Bay and opened the "School House Museum."

The pictures in this calendar reveal some of the community activities the Society has sponsored or  participated in during the ensuing years.

On the night of September 12/13 2006 the School House Museum was heavily damaged by fire. This Calendar is created as one of many projects to raise restoration funds.

Thank You for your assistance.
