Macaroni Jewellery

Material

• Macaroni of various shapes and sizes with holes
• Food Colouring
• Coloured string
• Plastic containers (to hold about 1/2 Cup of water)
• Wax Paper

Instructions

• Mix food colour and water in Plastic containers (more food colouring for darker colours)
• Dunk Macaroni noodles in water for about 1 minute to allow it to absorb the colour, but not go soggy.
• Remove from coloured water, pat dry and allow to dry thoroughly on wax paper
• Using string thread the coloured macaroni to make necklaces, bracelets and so on......

Suggestion: Just a tip for your macaroni colouring. Use rubbing alcohol instead of water. It dries instantly and the macaroni doesn't get soggy. :      From   Karen Curtis
