Lord, if Roses grow in heaven,

Please pick a few for me,

Place them in my father’s lap

And kiss him tenderly.

We deeply miss his courage,

His love and faith so true,

But, understand your wisdom

To bring him Near to you.

‘We will grieve not, rather find

strength in what remains behind’.
