Stories, Poems and Memories from Family Members and Friends

Master of the Hunt

It's a place of good cheer

That we go every year

To the Inn on the shore of the Bay

Where the dog's on the run

And the crack of a gun

Are the sounds that you hear every day

It is there every fall that

King Jake gives the call

To all hunters to take up there stand

While with the Blue-tick and Teddy

The black bitch and ready

He hiked for the park timberland

He's the Master of Hounds on his own hunting ground

and god help the unfortunate guy

Who in anyway shirks or buggers the works

Or let's a buck on the runway go by

Young and old Great and small he is loved by us all

Let the boys come up with a toast

To the son of good luck nursemaid to a buck and a perfectly generous soul
