| Our minister, Ruth Syme, has been leading a Bible study group for the past ten years, and some of the original members are still participating. People drop in or out, depending on their interest in a particular topic, but there are usually eight or ten participants. It is a fairly challenging Bible study. Participants buy a workbook and plan to spend a few hours every week preparing for the class. Class time is
spent filling in rather than repeating the material presented in the workbook, so people who don't have time to do the necessary reading can easily fall behind. The fact that we have such a committed core group, however, suggests that members continue to value the time spent. Usually there is a 14 week course in the fall and another in the spring. There is always room for new participants, and someone who comes in with a fresh point
of view can make a real contribution. Please contact the church office for more information.
