(formerly White Gift Sunday) 

   Food Bank Sunday is normally held at Community Church one of  the Sundays leading up to Christmas. The service is lead by the Leaders of Kid’s Church and the children  are  very involved in the programme.

  Instead of the usual Sunday church offering, attendees bring gifts of non-perishable food items for the Food Bank, traditionally wrapped in white paper. Gifts of money are also very welcome and  are given either to the Food Bank or to the North Renfrew Family  Services Bureau, depending on the need.
