Exhibition of Photography

 After a well-deserved break, the Library Arts Committee is looking forward to its new program of exhibitions in the Deep River Library Program Room.

 

This summer, we are sponsoring an Exhibition of Photography. Almost everyone takes photos, whether digital or analogue, black & white or colored, on holiday, of children or of local landmarks, close-ups or panoramic views. Now is your chance to choose your three best and show them to us all!

 

The show will run from July 25- Aug 8, to coincide with Summerfest. Artists are allowed a maximum of 3 pieces at a minimum size of 8"x11", and they must be framed and ready to hang. These pieces must not have been publicly exhibited in this area before. They may be for sale, and if sold, 15% commission will be returned to the Arts Committee.

 

Artists will be registered on a first-come first-serve basis as space is limited. The Library Arts Committee reserves the right to refuse entry to any piece for lack of space or if it is deemed unsuitable. A fee of $5.00 is payable by each artist.

 

Exhibiting artists must be willing to "Gallery Sit" during opening hours if required. Drop-off and Pick-up times to be announced later.
